Abstract
â¶The core-shell particles, which were prepared from melt blending of POE and nano-CaCO3, and different nucleating agents (α-form NA or β-form NA) were first introduced into PP to prepare the super toughened PP materials. â¶NAs control the crystalline structures of PP matrix including the spherulites diameter and the crystal form. â¶NAs and core-shell particles exhibit apparent joint effect in improving the fracture resistance of PP.
