Abstract
ⶠThe pore structure of freeze casting porous Si3N4 ceramics were strongly affected by the solid content of the slurries. ⶠThe increased solid content would decrease the pore size and change the pore structure from the aligned channels with dendrites to the individual round pores. ⶠThe formation of individual round pores inhibit the α â β-Si3N4 phase transformation, but was beneficial to the mechanical properties.
