Abstract
ⶠZA27 with 5% SiC, ZrO2 or C particles are synthesized by stirring then squeezed. ⶠParticles refine the structure. 50 MPa decreases porosity% and increases density. ⶠα and β nucleation temperatures of the composites are lower than those of the matrix. ⶠParticles accelerate age hardening and increase peak hardness of the composites ⶠParticles reduce the CTEs of composites compared to those of the matrix.
