Abstract
ⶠNickel-based foams can be brazed to Ti-alloy sheets. ⶠThe bond microstructure includes braze penetration into the hollow foam struts. ⶠConstraint of the bond allows poorer joints to make larger shear strains possible. ⶠInherent variation in foam density affects properties less than process variability.
