Abstract
▶ The low-cost heat-resistant HPDC Mg alloys were successfully prepared. ▶ Fine microstructure was obtained. ▶ Al-(Ce, La) strengthening phases were characterized detailedly. ▶ La preferred to exist in Al11(Ce, La)3. ▶ The improved mechanical properties of HPDC AlCeLa44 alloy were obtained.
