Abstract
ⶠClosite 20A is more properly dispersed in polymer matrix as compared to Closite 30B. ⶠClosite 20A migrates from the LLDPE phase to EMA phase at a surprisingly higher rate. ⶠClosite®20A mostly located at the EMA phase and provides high impact strength. ⶠThe addition of organoclay increases the modulus slightly for all the nanocomposites. ⶠAn improved balance between stiffness and toughness is observed for mixer 20AM2.
