Abstract
ⶠIn situ TiCp/Ti6Al4V composite with a network reinforcement architecture has been successfully fabricated by reaction hot pressing for the first time. ⶠThe formation mechanism of equiaxed (α + β) microstructure in the matrix of DRTMCs is believed to be due to the isotropic tensile stress generated by the network TiCp reinforcement structure and their different CTE. ⶠThe prepared TiCp/Ti6Al4V composite exhibits superior strength before and after heat-treatment.
