Abstract
ⶠThe volumetric strain is measured as 2% for CoNiAl. ⶠNovel experimental techniques were used to measure the strains. ⶠLattice constant measurements also result in tensile volumetric strains. ⶠThis magnitude of strain is unusually high for shape memory alloys. ⶠPseudoelasticity depends on the Md â Af differential.
