Abstract
ⶠWe investigated the plastic deformation mechanism of different metallic glasses with notches. ⶠThe plasticity of different metallic glasses can be improved by installing two symmetrical notches. ⶠBy employed the CSSD concept, the size of smooth regions on the fracture surface could be interpreted suitably. ⶠThe plasticity differences between the Zr- and Ti-based metallic glasses might be explained by the CSSD concept.
