Abstract
â¶ Co-deformation microstructure and hardness responses in two copper clad steel wires. â¶ Grain size discrepancy at the steel-copper interface, related to co-deformation. â¶ FEM used to quantify drawing stress gradients related to microstructure evolution. â¶ Characterized the texture responses as a function of draw and heat treatment. â¶ The hardness in steel variation related to work hardening and pearlitic structures.
