Abstract
⺠Sciatic function index and dorsal root ganglion cells were evaluated after sciatic nerve crush. ⺠Volume and surface of A- and B-cells reduced after crush. ⺠Number of A-, B- and satellite cells reduced after crush. ⺠Curcumin promotes the functional recovery of the nerve. ⺠Curcumin has a neuroprotective effect on the dorsal root ganglion cells.
