Abstract
⺠Soft β/B2 phase contributes to hot workability of TiAl alloy. ⺠This β γ-TiAl alloy possesses low Q value of 370 kJ/mol and wide processing window. ⺠The deformation mechanism is concluded as dislocation slip and mechanical twinning.
