Abstract

âº New ternary indides REPd2In4 (REÂ =Â La, Ce, Nd, Pr) with a new structure type. âº The new structure type is formed of two structures: YbAu2In4 and SmPd2In4. âº LaPd2In4 is a weak diamagnet. âº CePd2In4, PrPd2In4, and NdPd2In4 exhibit Curie-Weiss paramagnetism.
