Abstract
⺠A novel β phase containing TiAl alloy is designed and fabricated. ⺠The microstructures and fracture toughness of this alloy are studied. ⺠Precipitation of β and γ phases from α2 lamellae improves the fracture toughness of TiAl alloy.
