Abstract
► The kinetics of the C14 → C15 transformation in HfCr2 Laves phase was investigated. ► It was traced on the basis of reflection intensities and lattice spacings. ► The analysis revealed an activation energy Q of 220-250 kJ/mol ► Q is compatible with glide of synchro-Shockely partial dislocations.
