Abstract
► Systematically studied alloying effects on glass formation, mechanical and magnetic properties of Fe-based BMGs. ► Developed several new BMGs with a unique combination of high saturation magnetization and glass-forming ability. ► The GFA strongly depends on the electronegativity of the alloying element. ► Dependence of the saturation magnetization on alloying elements can be understood from diluting and coupling mechanisms.
