Abstract
Nanoparticles of FePd alloys in the size range of 5-8Â nm have been processed in gram quantities using the polyol process and were further consolidated into bulk magnets by spark plasma sintering (SPS). The as-prepared FePd nanoparticles showed disordered fcc structure; while their SPSed counterparts displayed typical L10-ordered fct structure with interesting magnetic properties.
