Abstract
⺠In this study we investigated the stability of the Higher Manganese Silicides (HMS). ⺠We characterized the samples by in situ X-ray diffraction measurements and Electron Probe Micro-Analyser (EPMA). ⺠It is shown for the first time in this work that Mn27Si47 is the only HMS stable phase at room temperature.
