Abstract
▶ 400 °C treated CFs present the highest amount of surface O-containing groups. ▶ O/C increases from 23.05% (as-received CFs) to 42.83% (400 °C treated CFs). ▶ -CO groups on CFs surface can reduce Cu2+ from CuSO4 solution. ▶ Electrodeposition involves applied voltage and reduction of functional groups. ▶ Morphologies of Cu deposits on CFs are different with different treatments.
