Abstract
â¶ A novel Eu2+/Sm3+ co-doped white light luminescence SrSiO3 transparent glass ceramics phosphor for White LED was prepared. â¶ The Eu2+ ions substituting different Sr2+ sites in SrSiO3 nano-crystals would get different emission. â¶ The precipitation of lower phonon energy SrSiO3 nano-crystals in the glass ceramics and entrance of Eu2+ into SrSiO3 crystalline phase resulted in more intense red, green and blue luminescence in comparison with glass. â¶ The energy transfer mechanism and quenching behavior of luminescence of Sm3+ and Eu2+ were well investigated using fluorescence decay analysis.
