Abstract
⺠This paper evaluates the welfare effects of introducing a cap-and-share scheme on the end users of transport in rural Ireland. ⺠Examines the equity impacts of carbon pricing. ⺠The results show that those living in rural areas would be relatively worse off that those living in urban areas.
