Abstract
⺠Microtexture of the nanograins can influence the overall shape of the dendrites. ⺠Growth direction is normal to high energy {011} and {001} planes of nanograins. ⺠Dendrites grow with low energy {111} of the nanograins as the growth planes. ⺠Interestingly high energy {001} of the nanograins are also the growth planes.
