Abstract
âºHelium ion bombardment can produce a porous surface on titanium alloys. âºSize and density of pores display strong temperature dependence. âºhFOB culture shows cells are not negatively affected by the porous surfaces. âºSurfaces from helium ion bombardment may be beneficial for orthopedic implants.
