Abstract
⺠Effect of the pitch of scanning the nozzle for a cavitating jet was verified for a uniform and effective treatment. ⺠Striped patterns due to non-uniform treatment were obtained at scanning pitches of 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. ⺠The pitch of 4 mm was determined as the best pitch in consideration of the most efficient treatment.
