Abstract
⺠We generate adherent titanium oxides and phosphor compounds on Ti to promote bioactivity. ⺠The presence of anatase as main crystalline phase was detected by Raman spectroscopy. ⺠The anodic film acts as an effective barrier to the electrolyte entrance to reach the Ti surface. ⺠Mechanical properties of Ti were improved with the formation of anodic films. ⺠Very ductile and excellent adhesion without signs of cracks or delamination, was observed.
