Abstract
⺠A mathematical model was used to predict microstructural evolution during galvannealing. ⺠A numerical method used the Murray-Landis variable grid to solve the model. ⺠The simulation results agree well with experimental observations. ⺠The model can be utilized to optimize the galvannealing parameters. ⺠A new perspective on two stages annealing is validated as a better galvannealing process.
