Abstract
⺠Microstructure of hot-dip aluminide coating on cast irons has been investigated. ⺠High-temperature oxidation resistance of cast irons was improved with aluminide coating. ⺠Different graphite structure results in diverse quality of aluminide coatings. ⺠Aluminide coating on flake graphite cast iron exhibits less oxidation resistance and adhesion to the substrate.
