Abstract
⺠We have been studied the thermoelastic characteristics of vertical-cracked TBCs. ⺠The improvement of vertical-cracked models appears in the longitudinal stress. ⺠The radial stress at the edge decreases as the number of vertical crack increases. ⺠The durability of TBCs can be increased by controlling the microstructure of TBCs.
