Abstract
► We have been studied the thermoelastic characteristics of vertical-cracked TBCs. ► The improvement of vertical-cracked models appears in the longitudinal stress. ► The radial stress at the edge decreases as the number of vertical crack increases. ► The durability of TBCs can be increased by controlling the microstructure of TBCs.
