Abstract
⺠Nano-impact test is an efficient method for investigating film failure mechanisms. ⺠This test was analytically described by a developed FEM model. ⺠Nano-impacts were conducted on a TiAlN coating at various loads and durations. ⺠Measured and FEM calculated results reveal a sufficient convergence.
