Abstract
► Design and fabrication of effectively uniform TiO2 NPs films via electrophoresis technique. ► Surface treatment of prepared electrodes using efficient amount of TiCl4. ► Band gap (HOMO and LUMO) engineering of TiO2 by using TiO2/ZnO core-shell structure. ► Fabrication of high efficient dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) with more than 5.16% energy conversion efficiency. ► Achievement of one of the highest short-circuit current (ISC) of DSSC made via electrophoresis.
