Abstract
⺠For the first time, we prepared electroless NiP/PCTFE coatings from tartrate bath. ⺠The incorporation of PCTFE in the coatings results in much smoother surface. ⺠The Ecorr of the NiP/PCTFE nanocomposite coatings is nobler than pure NiP coating. ⺠The corrosion resistance of NiP/PCTFE coatings is higher than pure NiP coating. ⺠The NiP/PCTFE4 coating shows the best corrosion behavior in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution.
