Abstract
► Liquid repellency from fluorinated ZnO nanoparticles onto carbon fabric was examined. ► The microwave process is performed at 80 °C within 8 min with different pH values. ► The contact angle shows an increasing function of surface density of ZnO particles. ► The deposition of ZnO onto carbon fabric strongly affects the liquid repellency.
