Abstract
⺠FeMnCrAl/Cr3C2-Ni9Al coating on carbon steel substrates was prepared by arc spraying. ⺠Ni9Al interlayer improved the oxidation resistance of the arc-sprayed coatings. ⺠The FeMnCrAl/Cr3C2-Ni9Al coating registered the lowest oxidation rate. ⺠Ni and Fe formed a diffusion layer that inhibited the oxidation of the interface.
