Abstract
⺠The presence of Ni can introduce high electric conductivity to the carbon fibers. ⺠The electrical conductivity increased with plating time and thickness of Ni layers. ⺠The average Ni size on the carbon fibers dropped with increasing plating time. ⺠The optimal coating thickness was found in the range of 0.75-1.75 μm.
