Abstract
âºPure Cu, Cu-μSiC and Cu-nSiC composite coatings have been produced by electrodeposition. âºThe electrodeposition was performed under direct and pulse curr,ent. âºThe characterization regards the microstructure, SiC content and corrosion properties. âºThe Cu-nSic deposits present the highest corrosion resistance and the Cu-μSiC the lowest. âºThe use of pulse current refines the microstructure and increases the corrosion resistance.
