Abstract
âºFeMnCrAl/Cr3C2-Ni9Al coating on carbon steel substrates was prepared by arc spraying. âºNi9Al interlayer improved the thermal shock resistance of the arc-sprayed coatings. âºThe cracks in the coatings were initiated and propagated along the oxide phases. âºNi and Fe appeared in the interdiffusion process, forming the diffusion layer.
