Abstract
âºTi/TiN multilayers were deposited by reactive DC magnetron sputtering technique. âºThe presence of phases like TiN, TiOxNy and TiO2 was confirmed by XPS analyses. âºThe multilayer coatings showed improved wear resistance. âºTi/TiN multilayers can improve the corrosion resistance of mild steel substrates.
