Abstract
⺠Required number of shots introduced in the numerical simulation. ⺠High-strain rate material behaviour that are used for the target plate. ⺠Capability to calculate shot peening effects on the target plate as function of coverage. ⺠Effects include residual stress field, surface roughness, stress concentration factor and cold work. ⺠The computed results are validated by respective experimental measurements.
