Abstract
⺠NiAl-TiB2 coatings are prepared by electro-thermal explosion ultrahigh speed spraying. ⺠The coatings have fine microstructure with submicron grains. ⺠The addition of TiB2 in NiAl increases its hardness, but decreases oxidation resistance at high temperature of NiAl coating.
