Abstract
⺠a-C films having embedded nanocrystallites were deposited by FCJCA technique. ⺠Effect of negative substrate bias on properties of the deposited films has been studied. ⺠The properties of the deposited samples have been compared with ta-C films. ⺠a-C films having embedded nanocrystallites may act as better hard coating materials.
