Abstract
⺠Single phase di-calcium silicate (β-Ca2SiO4) films were prepared by MOCVD. ⺠The β-Ca2SiO4 films showed excellent apatite formation after 7 d of immersion. ⺠The apatite formation of β-Ca2SiO4 film was slower than that of HAp film, but faster than that of CaTiO3 and α-TCP films. ⺠β-Ca2SiO4 films can be used as a coating on other materials to be used as bone implant materials.
