Abstract
⺠Coatings with substrate roughness of 8.33 μm display the best combined strength. ⺠New AlTi3 phase appeared in coatings due to the remelting and rapid cooling. ⺠Coatings with thick bond coat display lower bond strength values. ⺠High velocity and degree of melting of particles account for the low porosity.
