Abstract
⺠We developed an atmospheric microwave plasma torch assisted by FEM simulations. ⺠We determined the gas temperature of the plasma by optical emission spectroscopy. ⺠Silicon powder was reactively evaporated in an Ar/H2-Plasma. ⺠Thin silicon coatings were deposited and investigated.
