Abstract
⺠The transition from Hall-Petch effect to inverse Hall-Petch effect is observed. ⺠The fact of inverse Hall-Petch effect is validated. ⺠A theoretical model is proposed to calculate the critical grain size. ⺠Microstructure evolutions induced by ion bombardment are extensively researched.
