Abstract
⺠The present work is to provide a novel stress induced nitrogen diffusion model. ⺠Presented diffusion model can be as alternative to the Trapping-detrapping model. ⺠Presented kinetic model explains the shape of nitrogen depth profile in nitrided ASS.
