Abstract
► Thin gold films have been deposited onto base layers of SnO2:In. ► The gold depositions were made onto both non-heated and heated substrates. ► Gold depositions onto non-heated substrates were followed by heat treatment. ► Depending on heating procedure, the gold films show apparently different structure.
