Abstract
⺠This experiment is an important stepping stone towards single pulse holography with free-electron lasers. ⺠Optimized experimental setup, which relies on zone plates instead of pinholes, leads to significantly reduced exposure times. ⺠Temporal coherence of the source is the key factor for reachable resolution limit.
