Abstract
⺠Atom probe performance in quantitative analysis of carbon in steel. ⺠Apparent carbon concentration of stoichiometric cementite was not changed by the pulse fraction. ⺠Apparent concentration increased with decrease in the specimen temperature. ⺠Preferential retention and evaporation is not the main cause of the large deviation. ⺠It is currently an open question.
