Abstract
⺠Radiation induced damage in uranium dioxide studied by classical molecular dynamics. ⺠The damage level is proportional to the initial kinetic energy of the PKA. ⺠This linear dependence results from the formation of subcascades at high energy. ⺠This constitutes a simple formalism which can be applied to any material.
