Abstract
⺠Different computer codes like EGUN, TRAK and ANSYS have been used to design single stage depressed collector for 42 GHz, 200 kW gyrotron. ⺠The analysis is carried out for non uniform distribution of electron beam on the inner collector wall with maximum peak power of 0.419 kW/cm2. ⺠We also report the transient and fluid analyses. ⺠The simulated efficiency of the single stage depressed collector is 63%.
